What is Credit Share?
Credit Share is another new value-added service that allows Celcom prepaid and postpaid customers to perform the following transaction, anytime and anywhere via SMS and USSD.
- Share or transfer their Credit with their family and friends within Celcom network.
- Request for Credit from their family and friends within Celcom network (not applicable to postpaid)

Can I transfer or request any Credit amount?
The transferor’s entitlement is as below:-

I’m on Celcom Mobile Gold RM80 plan. Can I transfer my credit to a prepaid number?
Starting from 23rd May 2016, yes you can. Provided your LOS ≥ 6 months. Please refer to the Eligibility & Authorized Limit table above.
I’m using a prepaid number, can I transfer straight away after I have reached LOS ≥ 30 days as required?
Yes, you can transfer straight away after reaching LOS ≥ 30 days or ARPU > RM10. Please refer to the Eligibility & Authorized Limit table above.
Can I request for credit when my prepaid validity has expired?
Yes, as long as your account status is not terminated. On top of that, your validity will be extended accordingly.
Can I request or transfer credit while I’m roaming?
No. you cannot. This service is only available domestically.
Is there any service charge for using Credit Share?
Yes, there’s a RM0.50 cents service charge per transaction for both prepaid and postpaid on successful transfer and RM0.20 on successful request.
Is there any threshold amount required before I can transfer my Credit?

Can I transfer to more than one prepaid accounts?
Yes, you are allowed to perform Credit Transfer to multiple prepaid accounts. You can transfer to 1 (one) number at 1 (one) time.
Can I transfer to data only pack?
No, you can’t. Data only is not allowed to be requested and received via Credit Share service.

Will I be charged when I use this service?
For every successful transfer, the transferor will be charged as below:-

Will I be charged for the SMS sent (MO) or received (MT)?
No, both SMS MO and MT are free of charge.

How do I transfer Credit to my friend?
To perform Credit transfer, you just need to send SMS command which consists of the following item:-
- An amount between RM1.00 to RM25.00
- Recipient Mobile Number

Can I transfer Credit to other operator’s prepaid account e.g. Maxis, Digi?
No, this service is only applicable for Celcom prepaid customers.
What happens if I transfer Credit amounting RM3.50?
The amount transferred must be RM round figure without a cent. Customer will receive SMS notifying on “Credit Share transaction failed due to an invalid amount”.
What if the Transferor is not in ACTIVE status?
Customer will receive SMS notifying that “Celcom Credit Share service is only available for ACTIVE Celcom prepaid customer”.
What if Celcom system is down during the transfer or request?
Customer will receive SMS notifying that “Celcom Credit Share service is temporarily not available. Please try again later”.
Can a Postpaid customer send the request?
No. The Postpaid customer will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. Postpaid number is not allowed to receive Credit”.
Credit Request
How do I request for Credit from my friend?
To perform Credit request, you just need to send SMS command which consists of the following item:-
- An amount between RM1.00 to RM25.00
- Recipient Mobile Number

What happens if a Requestor without Credit sends the 1st request to A but rejected and then send a 2nd request to B but the system is down. Next, he sends a 3rd request to B again on the same day?
The requestor will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction Failed. You’ve reached the maximum Credit request allowed. Only 2 request attempts are given for account with RM0 Credit or expired”.
What happens if the Sender has insufficient Credit or the account have expired?
The requestor will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. 019XXXXXXX account has an insufficient Credit balance or has reached the expiry date”.
What if the Sender account is still not activated (PreActive) upon receiving SMS request from Requestor?
The requestor will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. 019XXXXXXX account is still not activated”.
What if the Sender did not respond to the request?
The requestor will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. 019XXXXXXX has not responded to your request”.
Can a Max Plan customer without Network Access send the request?
No. Requestor will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. To send a request for Credit, you must recharge your Network Access first”.
Can a Postpaid customer send the request for transfer?
No. The Postpaid customer will receive SMS notifying that “Transaction failed. Credit Request service is only available for prepaid customers”.
Credit Share Favorite Number
What’s Credit Share favorite number?
Credit Share favorite number is a new feature introduced to Celcom Credit Share users to simplify their transfer and request process.
How many numbers can I register for this feature?
You can register up to 5 numbers for this feature.
How do I register my favorite numbers?
All you need to do is to type “Fav <nickname> <fav_no>” and send to 1019. i.e fav ali 0192067841
Can I register five numbers at one (1) time?
No, you are allowed to register one (1) number at one (1) time.
How do I transfer to my favorite numbers?
You need to type “RM<amount> <password> <nickname>” and send to 1019
Note: Password is only for prepaid-to-prepaid transfer of more than RM20.
How do I request from my favorite numbers?
You need to type “RQ<amount> <password> <nickname>” and send to 1019
Note: Password is only for prepaid-to-prepaid transfer of more than RM20.
Can I retrieve my favorite numbers?
Yes, you can. Just type “fav list” and send to 1019.
Credit Share Schedule Transfer
What’s Credit Share Schedule Transfer?
Credit Share Schedule Transfer is another new feature introduced to Credit Share users to transfer their credit on a weekly or monthly basis to the pre-set number. You just need to set the mobile number and choose the credit to be automated transfer either a weekly or monthly basis.
How do I register the number?
You need to type ‘Sch<week/month> <amount> <password>’ and send to one (1) followed by the transferee number. i.e sch week 1 123456
Can I retrieve my schedule transfer?
Yes, you can. Just type ‘Sch list’ and send to 1019
How do I unregister the scheduled transfer?
All you need to do is to type ‘Sch off’ and send to one (1) followed by the transferee number i.e. sch off and send to 10133551207
How many numbers can I register as my schedule transfer?
You can register up to 5 numbers for schedule transfer.
Credit Share via Facebook
What’s Credit Share via Facebook?
Credit Share via Facebook is a new channel for Celcom subscribers to transfer and request a credit to their loved ones.
How do I transfer or request credit via Facebook?
First, you need to have a Facebook account. Then:-
- Find ‘Celcom Credit Transfer’ application
- For the ‘First Time User’, registration is required.
- A Transaction Authorization Code (TAC) will be sent to your registered mobile number for security purpose.
- You are required to enter the TAC to validate your registration.
- Once registration is successful, you may start using the feature and TAC is required for every transfer transaction.
- The confirmation such as ‘OK’ command must come from your registered mobile number.
Do I need to request the TAC every time I want to transfer credit?
Yes, for the security purpose, this is a MUST. Otherwise, the transaction will not be processed. Furthermore 1 (one) TAC is valid for 1 (one) transaction.
Do I need to enter the CAT password every time I want to transfer credit?
Not necessary unless you wish to transfer more than RM20 per day
